RE: -2022 ELECTIONS OF NATIONAL OFFICERS OF THE NBA AND NBA REPRESENTATIVES TO THE GENERAL COUNCIL OF THE BAR – NOTICE OF DISQUALIFICATION.
My attention has been drawn to a letter dated 20 may, 2022; posted on various WhatsApp Social Media Platforms addressed to Mr. Felix Chukwuma Ashimole, from your Committee in connection with the above matter, and I have been privileged to read same, which has my name mentioned in the letter as Mr. Ashimole’s Nominator. A copy of the said letter is attached herewith as Annexure-1. 
Be that as it may, the effect of the innuendo conveyed by the letter does not rub off on Mr. Ashimole alone, but also on my person as his Nominator, which effect may not be for now alone, but may resurface in future, if not addressed accordingly.
In as much as I shall not join issues with the Electoral Committee with regards to the Committee discharging its mandate, it is only appropriate that the correct facts be put in the right perspective and addressed as they should be.
Mr. Ashimole, together in company of Bernard O. NAFAGHA Esq., [Chairman Emeritus Bwari Branch], Emmanuel I. NWUDE Esq., [ Social Secretary Emeritus Bwari Branch], and Elder Reginald C. EKE, also of Bwari Branch visited with me at home, and in the presences of all mentioned herein; I collated all relevant documents requested of me as Nominator and handed same to Mr. Ashimole, which included the alleged not attached 2021 Branch Dues your letter says I did not attach. I am not in a position to comment on why your letter states that I did not attach same. A copy of the said NBA Bwari Branch Official Receipt for my 2021 Branch Dues allegedly not attached is attached herewith as Annexure-2. 
I am a Chairman Emeritus [Bwari Bar 2017-2019], I was NEC-REP [Bwari Bar 2019-2021], I have served on a number of NBA National Committees and I do understand the importance of paying my Bar Practicing Fee; as well as Branch Dues as at when due.
I wish to and hereby do correct the mistaken impression that I am neither qualified to contest NBA national elections nor nominate an Aspirant of NBA National Office. I do state that I am competently qualified to do both.
