POS Operators are to restrict their operations, within the commercial district of the FCT.
This directive, was issued by the FCT Executive Committee at the end of their meeting, presided over by Musa Bello, the FCT Minister, in Gwarimpa.
According to the Executive Committee, POS are commercial enterprises and their commercial activities, should be conducted only in designated commercial areas.
It further noted that, apart from the security implications, the activities of POS operators were also constituting environmental nuisance as their services to attract other commercial activities, thereby generating uncontrolled waste.
