In his goodwill message to Unity Bar, delivered personally, Mr. Ashimole urged the members of Unity Bar, to find a lasting solution to the fractured unity in their branch. He said that if this balkanization is not fix, NBA Abuja will lose its proud position as one of the big branches with votes that decide any election and be relegated to a Class C branch.
He further borrowed deeply from the homilies of the Priest who presided at the thanksgiving church service held at Our Lady Queen Of Nigeria Pro-Cathedral, Area 3, Abuja and solicited that let pride, greed, lust for power prevent them from finding solution to the lingering crisis in Unity Bar.
Mr. Ashimole further queried why this crisis has survived 3 NBA Presidents and still counting.
He appealed to members to draft a road map to reconciliation and make same available to NEC through the President, Olumide Akpata, Esq.
He thanked the Bulus Atsen led executive for offering him the rostrum to address the distinguished members of the Unity Bar.
