Nigerians are not ready to make sacrifices for a new Nigeria, we all thunderously lament when the spirit in the bottle hits us and the reality of our poor existence in the midst of God blessings of natural resources becomes as clear as a naked woman before an impotent man.
But how many of us have bothered to make sure that his or her immediate circle of friends and family members are ready?
Jesus had a universal mandate to save the world but he started first by making twelve ready and told them to start from Jerusalem- their immediate environment.
Acts of the Apostles 1:8 “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
So you who have seen the light of a new Nigeria and want the whole Nigeria to buy into it and birth it, start from your home, circle of friends, professional association and like Ghandi said, “truth is like a stone thrown into the river, the heavier the truth, the more the ripple waves will reach the banks.”
Are you ready to change Nigerians and Nigeria? Start with yourself-learn to rebel against the evil you don’t want to see in new Nigeria, get your family members to join the rebellion and gradually expand your sphere of rebellion.
