The NBA President, YC Maikyau SAN, OON has expressed condolences of the NBA, to Mrs Patience Eke, whose husband was gruesomely gunned done in a gangster manner, suggesting it was an assassination.
We were reliably informed that the NBA President wanted this out of public notice but a gold fish has no hiding place, coupled with the expression of gratitude by the wife of late Steven Eke.
She was delighted that the pinnacle and apex leader of the Bar could spare time to call, condole her and express readiness of the NBA to deploy men and resources to make sure that her husband’s death is not resolved as another death by unknown assailants.
In the same vein, the NBA President and the Bar, are making frantic efforts to get more information on the murder of Nathan Akatakpo, Esq., who also was gunned down in Ahoada Rivers State.
The NBA President condemned in the strongest terms, the murder of these illustrious colleagues of his and vow that NBA, will not tolerate any attack on any lawyer in any part of the country.
