We have been vindicated.
In a letter of invitation dated 21 September 2022, signed by Hadiza M. Dodo, Chief Registrar, the CJ Hon. Justice Husseini Baba Yusuf, has created Garki Judicial Division and the official unveiling will take place on Thursday 6th October 2022.
On June 9th at NEC Meeting in Ilorin Kwara state, without any Judicial Division in Garki, Abuja, Olumide Akpata announced the creation of NBA Garki.
This was a clear violation of NBA Constitution on creation of Branches; Section 16(1) 2015 NBA Constitution.
According to observers at Ilorin NEC, the creation became necessary to solve the over 6years lingering crisis in NBA Abuja (Unity Bar)
Coincidentally, on the same day of this creation, NBA Abuja held its election, with the two warring factions holding different election and still bearing NBA Abuja (Unity Bar)
One of the factions, popularly called Ezenwa’s faction, is the one who has migrated into the illegally created NBA Garki, with its factional leadership continuing as the leadership of NBA Garki but still hold its meeting in Wuse.
