After publication of https://kubwaexpress.com/2022/08/02/dss-issues-security-advisory-but-these-are-flash-points-in-kubwa/, our attention was drawn to Dr.Peter Afunanya DSS Spokesman’s statement that the security advisory was fake, sexed up by some mischief makers.
“The fake alert apparently made a counterfeit of an innocuous intetnal advisory issued by the a regional organisation for the attention of its workers but used the logo of the DSS as the agency raising the alarm.”
We apologize for the publication but still call on residents of Kubwa to beware of the flashpoints contained in the article.
We further call on all residents of FCT, to take precautionary measures to protect themselves. The security architecture of Nigeria has been stretched and it needs all the civilian reinforcements it can, especially in intelligence gathering from the citizenry.
