The much anticipated visit of Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, the GO of Redeemed Christian Church of God, has finally come.
There is heavy presence of security personnel. Members of the VIO and Road Safety Corps are actively on ground to make sure that worshippers do not block the express road.
The internal security and crowd control unit of RCCG are also on ground to make sure that orderliness is maintained.
Like everything religious, there is a petty market on the ground, selling all articles you can think of.
There is also an ambulance, a mobile clinic on Papal ground to attend to those who may develop medical complications or in need of first aid. According to one of the pastors giving exaltation, the crusade, is for healing of the sick, healing of Abuja and he declared light over all those attending the crusade.
The day is still young and there is substantial compliance.
The crusade titled, Light Up Abuja, is expected to last late into the night.
