We are in possession of a notice of Webinar by NBA Body Of Vice Chairs (NBA-BoVC) inviting Vice Chairpersons of all NBA Branches to an online meeting, to discuss; ENHANCING THE ENHANCING THE CAPACITY OF VICE CHAIRS with sub theme: INTRODUCTION TO THE AFRICAN HUMAN RIGHTS SYSTEM.

Time: 5:00pm According to the notice, attendance, is limited to Branch Vice Chairs, both past and present.
Calls we put across to NBA Secretariat, reveal that NBA-BoVC, is unknown to the NBA, and not one of the Sections recognized by the NBA Constitution. Our source further fumed at this attempt to Balkanize NBA under the leadership of YC Maikyau OON, SAN.
We also have it on authority, that the leadership of NBA takes exception to this and had severally called on the promoters of this BoVC, to stick to the constitutional roles provided for Vice Chairmen in the Uniform Bye-Law for NBA Branches.
Calls put to Barbara Tosan-Onwubiko, Vice Chairman, NBA Gwagwalada Branch 0806…4207, who claims to be the Secretary of NBA BoVC and moderator of the webinar, were not answered nor did she return our calls.
Worrisomely, this unknown body to NBA, has John Aikpokpo-Martins, immediate past 1st Vice President of NBA, listed as Chairman Governing Council of NBA-BoVC.
