GOODWILL MESSAGE.
I write on behalf of myself, my family and practice to congratulate and felicitate with you, the members of your Executive and the entire members of the Nigerian Bar Association, Lagos Branch on your 2024 Welfare day scheduled to hold on 11th October, 2024 in commemoration of the International Welfare Day.
It gives me great joy that the Lagos Branch prioritizes and takes seriously the welfare of our members and has set apart a day to address issues that directly affect lawyers and to further provide support and empowerment for our members in the Branch with particular focus on our Younger Colleagues commonly referred to as “Young Lawyers”. May I specially acknowledge the Welfare Secretary of the Branch Erelu Olaide Oluwayomi-Ajewole and the members of the welfare committee who have exhibited exceptional ingenuity, thoughtfulness, vision and passion in organizing this Welfare Day with the theme – Building a Supportive and Inclusive Legal Community.
While I am fascinated by the choice of the theme of the event which aptly captures the very essence of the Nigerian Bar Association, I regret that I will be unable to personally attend and enjoy your company as well as partake in all the refreshing activities lined up to mark the day as I will be involved in a family programme preparatory to the burial and funeral of my late elder brother. Nevertheless, please be assured that I am with you in spirit and that you can always count on my support for the Branch.
Once again, accept my sincere felicitations as I wish you a successful Welfare Day with visible impact in the lives and practice of our members.
Yours Sincerely,
