In line with peaceful established selection process for replacement of leadership and gentleman convention in EBF, which guarantees that all the 9 member states are represented in the Council, Aniekan Akpan, Esq of the Akwa-Cross component of EBF, has emerged unopposed.
At the close of nomination, no other candidate submitted any form to rumble with him.
Aniekan Akpan Esq, was called to Bar in 199 after a first degree in Political Science. 
He cut his teeth in the firm of Okey Wali & Co. After the stint with Okey Wali, SAN he joined the firm of Abuka, Ajegbo, Ilogu & Nwaogu, also in Port Harcourt.
Done with acquiring the tools necessary for a pupil to become a master, he set up his own firm in Uyo.
An active Barman, he served NBA Uyo as Secretary in 2007 and his sacrificial service to NBA Uyo, was rewarded with elevation via popular democratic votes to the office of Chairman NBA Uyo in 2015.
