A thief who identified himself as Michael and claims he resides at Channel 8 area of Kubwa, was caught this morning, at Katampe area of Kubwa Village.
He specialises in stealing buckets, clothes, shoes, snickers and light household items from the neighbourhood.
He was mildly tortured by aggrieved victims of his act.
A resident, who witnessed this, appealed to the her co-residents to hand the thief over to the police for further investigation and possible prosecution.
The residents refused and turned the mild torture into massive beating, after which they released the thief.
