Many candidates in this just ended 2023 Presidential Election, committed “Class suicide” and branded their campaign posters, with that of Peter Obi.
They were repeatedly warned that this anti-party activity, will not only demarket their party but will also cause them to lose the election to their opponent in LP who is contesting for the same seat.
Being naive or out rightly undermining their party’s presidential candidate, they refused to heed to warning.
The results gathered from the polling units we visited, clearly show that whatever and wherever LP won presidential election, LP Senatorial and House of Reps candidates also won.
The results are as follows;
For senate, ADC 7, APC 6 PDP 11, SDP 4, YPP 2, APGA 4,, ZLP 1 and the LP 210.
Dreamy Stars Academy, Arab Road Kubwa, PU 026, APC scored 11 votes; LP scored 230 votes, PDP 4 votes NNPP 1.
For the House of Representatives, ADC scored 47 votes, the APC 7 the PDP 8 LP 151 and Boot Party 1.
Byazhin Primary School Ward, Kubwa, Polling Unit 014 with 276 votes: The LP won, PDP and APC got 11 votes each.
Byazhim Rock Theatre Ward, PU: 037, Obi LP 27 PDP 1 and APC 2.
Ward-Ijiyapi Ward, Polling Unit 008, Kubwa, LP 77 votes, APC 6 votes, PDP 3 and SDP 2.
Byazhin Chief Palace Ward, PU: 010, Kubwa; LP 29 votes, PDP 5, APC 7, ZLP 2, ADC 2 and PRP 1.
