Subsequently, the Police, arrested Bishop and his Rev. son. After months of such arrest and the frenzy died down, the Church is reopened and business re-commences, only that when we visited on Sunday 15th, attendance was abysmally low. Our journey to Freedom Chapel International, Bazango Kubwa, was fired by a comment by a lawyer, a prominent NBA member, in a strictly lawyer’s WhatsApp platform, when the issue of the mother was raised.

Our visit to the church off NYSC road, shows that the church is in full commercial activities. The banner on the wall attests to this as they held a program during the just concluded Yuletide.
We are curious to know when when a murder suspect, who denies not knowing the victim, is let off the hook and he promised to pay “something” to the family of the deceased.
We call on well meaning residents of Kubwa, who knows the family of the murdered Amanda, to link them up to us. Some NGOs have indicated interest in pursuing the matter to its logical conclusion to get justice for Amanda and also assist the police to find the real killer, assuming that Pastor Kelechi Amadi whom was reported to had sexual relationship with Amanda, was not the killer.
A team of lawyers working with Kubwa Express, have visited Kubwa Police Command but met his absence but a police office pleading not to be quoted, told the team that, “that case is no longer here. You should go to Force CID Area 10 or write to the IG. There is nothing our Commander can do for you.”
