As the NBA NEC Meeting taking place in Akure, Ondo state, breaks into comment/response from NEC Delegates, below are quick takeaways from the NBA President’s opening remarks.
NBA President orders investigation into the accident and death of the Pioneer Chairman of Eti Osa branch. The 2nd Vice President, Acting Chair of the Branch and Chairman of Lagos branch. All persons found culpable are to be prosecuted. 
Gender Based Violence. While FIDA and NBA Woman Forum are doing their best, The male lawyers must join the fight.
NBA to set up a committee to monitor the dressing of Lawyers across all branches. Anyone found in violation willing be walked out of court. Also, at the NEC meeting, only person Properly dressed will be recognized at NEC meetings going forward. Forum Shopping, Division Shopping and Judge Shopping will not be tolerated. Any one found guilty, will be referred to the LPDC. All lawyers are encouraged to make reports to the NBA and also take up the case at the LPDC.
NBA Disciplinary Panels to be set up for different regions. All proceedings will be virtual. With separate panels for Lagos and Abuja.
