NBA ISIOKPO BRANCH VISITS TWO OF HER MEMBERS WHO ARE SICK, PRESENTED SOME AMOUNT OF MONEY IN CASH TO EACH OF THE SICK MEMBERS.

Representatives of the Nigerian Bar Association, Isiokpo Branch Executive and the Ad-hoc Committee on Visitation to Members Facing Health Challenges led by the Branch Chairman; SIMPLE I. DIOHA visited two members of the Branch on Thursday, 3rd October 2024.
During the visit, the Chairman; SIMPLE I. DIOHA on behalf of Nigerian Bar Association, Isiokpo Branch while thanking God for the life of the sick members also gave the sick members some words of encouragement promising that the Branch will continue to visit them until they are fully recovered.The Chairman further stated that he has directed the Ad-hoc Committee to keep close regular interface with the sick members and be briefing the Branch.
The Chairman presented some amount of money, in cash, on behalf of the Branch to the sick members who were visited at their various homes at Rumuodomaya and Rukpokwu respectively to assist in their medications.The Branch also prayed for the sick members which prayer was coordinated by the immediate Past Chairman of the Branch; Hon. Dr. Pastor Cashmia O. Ofurum.
The sick members; Elder Destiny S. I. Chima and Chima Omah, Esq thanked the Branch for the kindness of coming in to assist them while Elder Destiny S. I. Chima on his part, asked the representatives to kneel as he also prayed for the Branch.
It will be recalled that upon being sworn-in on 29th August 2024, the Chairman; SIMPLE I. DIOHA, delivering his acceptance speech, immediately set up the Ad-hoc Committee with a mandate to visit three members of the Branch who have being sick for a long time ranging from spinal-cord case to stroke etc. He charged the Ad-hoc Committee to investigate the level of their sick and recommend ways in which the Branch can assist the said members.
The Ad-hoc Committee submitted its report on Thursday 26th September during the Branch General Meeting.
