Late Chief Barrister Beatrice Ihedinawa Onwuzuruike was born into the family of Mr. Uzoma and Mrs. Margret Onwuzuruike of Akunedo Kindred, Nduhu Village Eziama Obaire, Nkwerre L.G.A of Imo State on the 18th of January 1966 at Holy Rosary Hospital Etche Rivers State, Nigeria.The little Beatrice Onwuzuruike attended Eziama Central School from 1973 to 1979 where she had her Primary Education. Her Secondary Education was at Amucha Technical School Njaba L.G.A, from 1979 to 1984 where she obtained her Senior Secondary School Certificate. After her Secondary School Education she gained admission into the Lagos State University, Faculty of Law in 1996 and was called to Barr in 2006.
She started her legal practice at Zimako Chambers, Item Street Owerri, Imo State and P.A. Chambers at World Bank Road, New Owerri. Late Beatrice was later appointed a member of Land Use Allocation Committee (LUAC) under Imo State Ministry of Lands, by His Excellency Distinguished Sen. Rochas Anayo Okorocha and in 2019 she was appointed legal adviser to Korea INSU Nigeria Limited.
Late Chief Barrister Beatrice Onwuzuruike received several awards and Chieftainey Titles among which includes; the Igolo of Eziama Obaire Autonomous Community Nkwerre L.G.A, Imo State.She equally belonged to numerous national and international organisations.
The Late Chief Barrister Beatrice Onwuzuruike is survived by her children Miss. Precious K. Uzoma and Master Udochukwu M Uzoma; her only surviving Elder Sister Agnes Onwuzuruike and host of other relatives.
