According to Agbasonu Stanley’s report, posted on his facebook wall; Salma Yunusa, a native of Ajagwumu in Dekina local government of Kogi State, was on Tuesday 12th March, 2024 in Byazhin, a suburb of Kubwa area of Abuja, stabbed to death by a single mother of two, Immaculate Chukwudi who lived in the same compound with Salma and her elder sister Bilikisu Yunusa.
An argument ensued from the spreading of clothes on a rope fixed by the deceased’s elder sister which degenerated into Immaculate Chukwudi taking a knife and stabbing the deceased in the presence of many neighbours.
Salma died on the way to Kubwa General Hospital.
Under interrogation by the police, the suspect, Immaculate confessed to the crime.
She’s currently in police custody in Kubwa, while the corpse of Salam, was buried yesterday in Ajagwumu, Dekina Local Government Area of Kogi State.
The elder sister of the deceased is calling on the public and human rights organisations to help her sister get justice.
