Kubwa Schools Resume For First Term

After being hurried to close down in July, for long vacation on due to insecurity, schools in Kubwa, Bwari Area Council of Abuja, will throw their gates open to commence first term for 2022/2023 academic year.

Schools were directed to close after terrorists suspected to be members of Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP) attacked Sheda and Lambata, close to Federal Government College Kwali.

Reacting to fears by parents over the safety of their children, the Public Relations Officer, FCTA Education, Mr Kabir Musa told newsmen that the FCT Administration had put up measures across the city to ensure safety of the returning students.
