Afam Osigwe, SAN Speaks At Uniben Law Class Of 2006 Reunion

It was a jolly, lovely pat on the back and bubbly meeting at Protea Hotel Benin, Edo state, when University of Benin faculty of law 2006 class, met to regurgitate, reflect and make plans on how to bond better, help one another and give back to society.

The guest speaker, Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN, while addressing the august gathering, emphasized the need and importance for class mates and friends to meet regularly.

According to Osigwe SAN, “one of the greatest assets you have in life, is your friends. When you have friends and work with friends, you will realize, that you will get a lot of things done.”

The Learned Silk further urged them to be mindful that the essence of reunion, is not for the successful ones to rob their success and affluence in the face of others, who may be passing through temporary set back.

Reunion is a gathering of mates to sharpen one another, encourage those who may be in need of encouragement, offer comfort to those who may have been hit by hardship or may have lost a spouse, child or parent(s).
Reunion should not be organized to make any feel inferior but in a manner that all will be happy to see old school mates and know that his or her mates are willing to assist without shaming them or making them feel less of an achiever in life.
