It is with a deep sense of gratitude to the Almighty God for a very fulfilled life that I sympathize with my sister, the Editor-in-Chief of Newswire Law & Events Magazine, Gloria Ireka, on the death of her beloved mother, Mrs. Ezinne Comfort Nnechukwu Ireka (nee Uzoeto).
In her lifetime, the late Mrs. Ezinne Comfort Ireka was indeed a true testament of the noble role of a matriarch in both her immediate and extended families, and a woman leader and the moral conscience of her community who played pivotal roles in the shaping of her environment.
Mama lived a robust and very active life of service that is worthy of emulation. She raised a good family and successful children. A doting wife and mother, Mama discharged her onerous family and professional responsibilities with finesse.
This world is a temporary abode. One day, we shall all return to our Creator. This is the fate of all and we don’t know when nor how! Mama has run her race and finished her course. But she lives on in the love of her children and our sure confidence that she is in the bosom of our Lord Jesus Christ
Mama will be missed, but we are consoled by the legacies you left behind.
I pray that the beautiful memories of her eventful life will add comfort and warmth in the hearts of all that she has left behind.
May Mama’s gentle soul rest in the Lord. Chukwuemeka Mbamala, Esq.
