According a statement signed by Dr. Rapulu Nduka, the Publicity Secretary, Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), there shall be a hybrid town hall meeting of the NBA-Security Agencies Relations Committee (NBA-SARC) on Tuesday, 5th April, 2023.
The theme of the Town Hall meeting is “Lawyers, Security Agencies and the Rule of Law”.
NBA-SARC was setup as a result of the surge in cases of maltreatment of legal practitioners by security operatives whilst discharging official duties and obligations to clients and to find out a more cordial way of interaction between lawyers and security agencies.
For those who can make it, the venue is NBA Secretariat at time is 12 noon.
