In a petition by Mazi Uchenna Uche, Esq, the NBA president has been called upon to save the Bar from impending crisis by dissolving the kangaroo electoral committee set up Unity Bar.
According to the petitioner, the Chairman, Mose Ebute, SAN dissolved the Standing Committee and constituted a new one made up of his cronies with the intent of favoring a candidate.
He prays NBA president to dissolve the Committee, compel the Chairman to revert to the December 2021 Standing Committee or cause a new Electoral Committee to be set up and conduct the election.
In line with Uniformed Bye Law For NBA Branches 2015, Unity Bar’s election will take place in June.
