Light Up Abuja Crusade Ends With Kubwa In Darkness

The one day crusade by Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), held on one of the holy grounds of Kubwa, ended late Wednesday night.

It was a refreshing time for seekers of God’s touch, who trooped into Kubwa from all parts of FCT and neighboring states.

Residents on hearing of this crusade, were apprehensive that there would be gridlock, because RCCG’s programs are crowd pullers.

The massive presence of combined team of Road Safety Commission, Vehicle Inspection Officers (VIO), Police and RCCG’s crowd control unit, made it easy for traffic to flow.

Residents of Kubwa were relived that their movement were not impeded by this program.

While the man of God was invoking the light of God to illuminate the lives of members and our nation Nigeria, residents of Kubwa, received SMS from Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC), apologizing for the darkness it frequently throws Kubwa into.

The SMS reads, “Dear Customer, please note that the interruptions of electricity supply you are currently experiencing is due to the instability of supply from the National Grid due to low Generation. We appeal to you to be patient as all stakeholders are working hard to restore system stability.“

As at the time of writing, a good part of Kubwa is in darkness.
