Nwabueze Obasi-Obi,Esq a Partner in Y. C Maikyau & Co., has congratulated Nuhu J Egya, his NLS mate, who just emerged NBA Keffi Chairman.
According to Obasi-Obi, Esq, “the news of the victory of the duo, Nuhu Egya John and Wakawa Abdulmushin Abubakar as Chairman and Publicity Secretary of NBA Keffi Branch did not come to me as a surprise, because the duo had been a good follower of the Yakubu Ede’s led administration, hence the confidence by the members to cast their votes in that direction because they would also be good leaders who would consolidate and build on the gains of their predecessors.
There is something unique about my relationship with the duo; the Chairman Elect, Mr. Nuhu was my call mate and we were both together in the Abuja Campus of the law school in 2009 and were best of friends. While Mr. Wakawa and I were both in the Masters Class in Nasarawa State University, Keffi in 2017/2018 session and we shared similar courses which made us relate closely. While the campaigns were ongoing I had no doubt in my mind that they were awaiting swearing in and I indeed thank God for their victory at the pools and also appreciated the members of the Branch for reposing the trust on them.
I wish them a successful tenure while I am convinced they would both support the agenda of the NBA President in building a dynamic Bar.
This is because they both worked assiduously during the Y. C Maikyau SAN’s campaign in Keffi Branch and other branches.
