In best universal practices, campaign by candidates in the forthcoming NBA Election has ceased.
For fear of ECNBA last minute disqualification, all candidates have called their supporters to sheath their SMS, WhatsApp messages but go spiritual and beseech their gods in prayer for a successful outing on Saturday.
We learnt that many have engaged the services of spiritualists in white garment, others have gone into fasting, while another set, are telepathically casting spell on lawyers to “mistakenly” vote for them.
The Director YC Maikyau SAN campaign team issued the following statement “While appreciating all lawyers for the tremendous support accorded to YC Maikyau, SAN, it is imperative to state that campaigns came to an end at exactly 11:59pm in compliance with the ECNBA Electoral Guidelines.
The YC Maikyau, SAN Campaign Group hereby disclaims and disassociates itself from any campaign materials published beyond 11:59pm of 13th July, 2022, as such was neither authorised nor emanated from YC Maikyau, SAN or his supporters.

A member who had been complaining of being ICTically terrorized by candidates squabbles on social media handles, hived a sigh of relief at the announcement of cessation of campaign by all candidates.
But little does he know, that this 48hrs cessation, is a calm before the storm, the brewing of an active volcano before eruption and the Big Bang will roar on Sunday 17th, when the results will be announced.
