The High Court of Federal Capital Territory, Abuja sitting at Kubwa, Abuja in a suit number FCT/HC/CV/2766/18 between CEMA L Company Limited vs Neutral Resources Limited has made an order restraining owners, developers and management of Wiser Estate, Mabushi, Abuja from further letting, selling or leasing out any of the 10 units of 4-bedroom terrace duplex allocated to neutral resources limited within wiser estate, Mabushi, abuja pending determination of a suit of breach of contract for payment of agency/consultation fee over N16,,500,000.
The suit of breach of contract was brought against the owners of the estate land who are alleged to have refused or neglected to pay the agency fee of over N16,500, 000 agreed with the claimant, CEMA L Company Limited who facilitated and brokered the joint venture by the estate was built by the developers.
The agency contract was entered by the parties in 2013, and the claimant solicited and brought developers who reached agreement the defendant and built the Wiser Estate b 2016/2017.
After completion of the Estate, the property owner reneged on his contractual obligation with the claimant who sued for breached the contract
