Criminal activities are on the rise in Kubwa, with residents of most estates, resorting to retaining services of local vigilante.
On Saturday, a popular hotel in Phase 4, Kubwa was robbed by a gang of armed young men.
Guests at this hotel, were at gunpoint, dispossessed of all their belongings.
Management of the hotel, is desperately trying play down the robbery but has taken to some platforms, assuring patrons that it has reinforced security and such incident, won’t happen again.
With the news of this Saturday robbery spreading, estates within Phase 4 have contacted the Vigilante office at NEPA road, to deploy men to man them.
Usually, during months running up to Christmas and end of year, burglary, petty theft are weekly occurrences in Kubwa.
Against this backdrop, residents of Kubwa, are enjoined to be security conscious and make use of the Police Emergency numbers, once they notice any suspicious movement around their neighbourhood.
