The Chairman of the NLS Board of Trustees, Chief Bolaji Ayorinde, SAN, NLS BoT Chairman, has announced the appointment of the under listed members of NLS to constitute the Interim National Executive Committee in a statement released on Wednesday. 
Members of the committee, according to the statement are: Chief Mela Audu Nunghe, SAN, President, Hon. Nimi Walson-Jackiii, Vice President South, Mallam Abdulqadir Alhaji Sani, Vice President North, Mr. Steve Abar, General Secretary, Madam Alice Ogaku Awonugba, Assistant General Secretary, Madam Zara Umar Yakub, Financial Secretary, Madam Chioma Ferguson, Treasurer, Mr. Stephen Uchenna Nwankwo (Steve Sun), Publicity Secretary, and Mr. Oluniyi Adediji, Welfare Secretary.
The statement explained that the Nigerian Law Society is the premier professional association for lawyers enrolled as barristers and solicitors of the Supreme Court under the Legal Practitioners Act of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
