Today, we come together to celebrate and honor a true beacon of hope and progress for our community – Senator Kingibe Ireti Heebah, representing the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) under the Labour Party in the 10th National Assembly.
In just one remarkable year, Senator Kingibe has touched countless lives with her unwavering dedication and heartfelt commitment to our well-being. She has created around 6,000 employment opportunities through the National Commission for the Coordination and Control of the Proliferation of Small Arms, Ammunition, and Light Weapons (NATCOM). In these challenging economic times, these jobs have brought much-needed relief and hope to many families.
Education is the cornerstone of our future, and Senator Kingibe has not turned a blind eye to this truth. Recognizing the dreams of our youth, she has provided 2,000 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) forms for students aspiring to take the 2024 exams. With the rising cost of these forms, her generosity ensures that financial barriers do not stand in the way of our children’s dreams.
Healthcare is another pillar of her service. Senator Kingibe has initiated the construction of a 50-bed hospital in Dobi community, Gwagwalada. This facility promises to bring quality healthcare services closer to home, ensuring that our loved ones can access the care they need without undue hardship.
Infrastructure development is crucial for any thriving community, and Senator Kingibe understands this well. She has commissioned a vital road project in Karu, a satellite town in the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), enhancing connectivity and accessibility for all residents.
