On the 27th Day of March 2024, the Chairperson of the Branch, Chibuzo M. Nwosu, in company of some members of her Executive, paid a courtesy visit to Asiwaju Adegbogyega Solomon Awomolo, SAN, FNIALS (FCArb) to felicitate with him on his emergence as the 52nd Chairman of the Body of Benchers 
The Chairperson conveyed the goodwill of the Branch and congratulated the Chairman for a well-deserved achievement which is a true testament of his selfless service, years of hardwork, diligence and enormous cognate experience as a dedicated legal practitioner.
According to the Chairperson, “as a father of the Branch, who consistently supports the Branch, there was no doubt that the Almighty will continue to guard, strengthen and equip him with wisdom and courage to lead well and accomplish greater strides in the legal profession.
She however expressed in Yoruba dialect, *Eku Orire, Oye Amori, Igba yin atu wa lara* (meaning, congratulations, your reign shall be successful and bring us rest of mind).
To cap the visit, the Chairperson, on behalf of the Branch, presented a Congratulatory Letter and Card to Asiwaju as a lasting reminder of this great feat. 
In response, Asiwaju expressed immense gratitude to God for the position and appreciated FIDA for her kind gesture and prayers.
Still in the mood of felicitation, the Chairperson also congratulated the Branch’s very own Elegant Elder Chic Chief, Mrs. Victoria Olufumilayo Awomolo (SAN) on her appointment as a member of the Body of Benchers which is a special elevation and celebration for FIDA Abuja, being the first of its kind.
The Chairperson and EXCOs congratulated her for the great achievement and also prayed for God’s direction and guidance.
