As Burabari Adule Nkor Esq. regains his sight.
Lawyers across the branches of the NBA in Rivers State has poured encomiums on Chairman of the NBA National Welfare Committee, Chief Emeka Ozoani SAN for his multi-million Naira support for ailing lawyer from Rivers State Burabari Adule Nkor Esq, leading to the restoration of his sight. Burabari Esq, of the NBA Bori branch was reported to be critically ill of hypertension, diabetes, acute glaucoma, stroke and eye haemorrhage (bleeding of the eyes).
Chief Ozoani upon receiving this information, travelled from his base in Lagos, to visit Burabari in Bori, Rivers State. During this visit, he donated an electric wheelchair worth 3.2 million naira to enable Burabari move about, one million naira for physiotherapy to enable him walk again and 900,000 Naira to cover the cost of injections to stop the bleeding in his eyes to prepare the young lawyer for eye surgery.
On 20th November,2023 about four months after receiving injections in his yes in preparation for surgery, doctors declared Burabari fit for surgery. The eye surgery has been done in one eye and was successful. 
Burabari Esq can now see with that eye. Members of the Bori branch and the Ogoni lawyers forum are excited with this positive development. Speaking to our correspondent in port Harcourt, the Idris Abayomi Esq commended the selflessness of Emeka Ozoani SAN as unprecedented. ” We were shocked when we got a call the Emeka Ozoani SAN wants to visit Bori to visit our sick colleague.
During this visit, his humility, graciousness and simplicity brought tears to our eyes. He touched and spoke gently with our colleague. He is God sent”.
Another legal practitioner Nekabari Annah, also praised the generosity of Emeka Ozoani SAN. ” He gives to those who are crushed and have no helper. He is a positive tool in the hands of God Almighty.
This is what I call practical help. I wish more lawyers would emulate the example of Emeka Ozoani SAN. I am glad to hear that He has accepted the call of thousands of lawyers across the Country to run for the office of NBA President in 2024. A lawyer from Okehi branch in Rivers State, who doesn’t want her name mentioned said ” assisting financially and morally to restore the sight of one lawyer is one million times more valuable than buying alcoholic drinks and food to buy the votes of lawyers in 2024 which is what most of those seeking elective offices in 2024 are doing.
