Chris Agidy, Esq., popularly known as Barman, is among 19 persons kidnapped by unknown gunmen at Galadimawa area of FCT, Abuja.
This was revealed by the Senator representing Delta North, Ned Nwoko, Esq., on the floor of the Senate.
Chris Agidy served NBA Abuja (Unity Bar) as Secretary when Afam Osigwe, SAN was chairman 2010-2022.

A statement issued by the media office of the Delta lawmaker on Wednesday said the incident happened about two weeks ago and feelers from credible Police sources said 12 of the victims have been killed while the remaining seven were being held as captives.
“It is with profound concern and heavy hearts that we address the recent kidnapping incident in Galadimawa, Abuja, involving multiple individuals, including the Senator’s esteemed Senior Legislative Aide, Barrister Chris Agidy.“Approximately two weeks ago, a distressing incident unfolded where 19 individuals were forcefully taken from their homes in Galadimawa area of Abuja.
Upon receiving this distressing news, immediate measures were taken by Senator Ned Munir Nwoko whose SLA was unfortunately among. He contacted the Commissioner of Police who swiftly activated the OC Anti-Kidnapping team to secure the release of those abducted.
