Auta Nyada Congratulates FIDA

Dear esteemed members of the INTERNATIONAL FEDERATION OF WOMEN LAWYERS (FIDA).
It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that I extend my warmest greetings to each and every one of you attending this regional conference on the Maputo Protocol and Women in Africa: Digital Technology as a Vital Tool for Acceleration.
I would like to express my sincere appreciation for your relentless efforts to promote gender equality, empower women, and advocate for justice. Your dedication towards advancing the rights and well-being of women in Africa is truly commendable. The chosen theme for this conference, “Digital Technology as a Vital Tool for Acceleration,” resonates deeply with the contemporary challenges faced by women in Africa. In an era where digitalization has rapidly transformed our lives, it is crucial to recognize the potential of technology as a catalyst for positive change, particularly in empowering women and promoting their equal participation in various aspects of society.
Digital technology presents an extraordinary opportunity to bridge the existing gender gap and create a more inclusive environment. It opens pathways for women to access information, education, healthcare, and economic opportunities, thereby contributing to their social and economic empowerment. By harnessing the power of digital tools, we can foster an environment where women’s voices are heard and their rights are protected.
This conference not only allows us to reflect upon the progress we have made, but also presents an opportunity to critically evaluate the challenges and possible solutions in leveraging digital technology for the acceleration of women’s rights. We are confident that the knowledge shared and discussions held during this event will help shape future strategies and initiatives for the betterment of women in Africa.
As we come together to learn, share experiences, and build networks, let the spirit of unity and collaboration guide our discussions and actions. Together, we can pave the way for a more equitable and just society, where every woman is empowered to reach her full potential.
Once again, I extend my sincerest gratitude to the INTERNATIONAL FEDERATION OF WOMEN LAWYERS for organizing this conference and providing a platform for dialogue and progress. May your efforts continue to inspire us all and create a brighter future for women in Africa.

Warmest regards,Auta Nyada Esq.
