The second Quarterly Meeting of Eastern Bar Forum( EBF), will hold in Port Harcourt, Rivers State on the 21st to 23rd of July, 2023.
The crux of the meeting, is the election of new Governor and Council members, to take over from the illustrious tenure of Mazi Uba Anene, Esq.
EBF formed in 2004, is a pressure group within NBA; an association of lawyer born in or practicing in any of the NBA Branches in the Old Eastern Region of Nigeria, now made of the following 9 states; Abia, Akwa-Ibom, Anambra, Bayelsa, Cross River, Ebonyi, Enugu, Imo and Rivers.
According to Steve Ononye SAN, Chairman EBF Election Committee, after a meeting of the Electoral Committee held on the 29th Day of June, the following candidates were qualified to contest after screening;
