NBA Ikorodu Day 4; Domestic Violence/Legal Aid Session

As part of the ongoing Law Week 2023, the members of the Bar and general public of Ikorodu and its environs, will be educated on the dangers of domestic violence as well as equip them them with practical knowledge to prevent it and successfully litigate on it where all other avenues of a peaceful resolution had closed. According to the Secretary of the Law Week Planning Committee, Ms. Tiwatope Ebinum, Esq., the seminar on Domestic Violence/Legal Aid, will be followed by visit to police stations within Ikorodu, to sensitize the police on rights of suspects-presumption of their innocence, access to a counsel of their choice before and during writing of their statement under caution as well as expose the police to salient provisions of the Administrative of Criminal Justice Act.
