Life we were told at age 4, begins at 40. We looked forward to 40 and before we could learn how to woo a woman with the good things of life, 40 had passed us by.
It left us wondering, what had we done with our first 40 years in life? We kept searing and asking our shadows, what went wrong? What happened to our dreams of greater us at 40?
Despite near misses, what I didn’t miss, is having lorry load of good, faithful brotherly friend. He has remained young at heart, ever cheerful.
He is honest with a baby’s innocence and friendly with all, a dependable comrade that you can go through any war with and your back is truly covered.
My friend Christopher Areghan Eichie, fondly called Uncle Eichie, will be the first of my friends in my call set of NLS 2003 to be born again and start life afresh at 50!
Silver, Gold and Diamond, I wish I have to trumpet his entry into the golden side of life. But what I have, I will give; I will celebrate him for a week, heading into his birthday of April 5th.
