Ibrahim Kuye (M), 28 years, who was arraigned before Ogba Magistrate Court, Lagos for an offense contrary to Section 306 and punishable under Section 306(2) and 287 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015, has been sentenced to four hours of community service.
The prosecution alleged that trespassing into a compound and stole three bottles of Tiger beer valued at N1,500.
The Prosecutor, Inspector Emeka Ehinze, informed the court Kuye, committed the offence in Egbeda, in the Alimosho area of the state.
The charge read, “That you, Ibrahim Kuye, on March 18, 2023, around 3pm at Gemade Estate, Egbeda, Alimosho, in the Ikeja Magisterial District, did break into No. 9 Fidelix Crescent, Gemade Estate, Egbeda, Alimosho, Lagos State, by climbing the gate of the compound, property of one Uche Uba, and thereby committed an offence contrary to Section 306 and punishable under Section 306(2) of the Criminal Laws of Lagos State of Nigeria, 2015.”
