The celebration of women on this day started on March 8,1913.
AIM OF WOMEN’s DAY.
1. Is to help nations world wide eliminate all forms of discrimination against women.
2. It is a day set aside to focused on helping women gain full and equal participation in global development.
3.It is a business issue because gender equal at board room, government,media coverage, work places is essential for economic to thrive.
4. A gender equal world is a healthier, wealthier and more harmonious communities to grow.

The color purple is a combination of calm stability of blue and the fierce energy of red. Purple is often associated with:- Royalty, Nobility, Luxury,Power, Ambition.
Purple also represents- dignity, creativity, wisdom, independence,wealth, extravagance,pride, devotion, mystery grandeur magic and peace.
A combination of purple,green and white is meant to represent women’s equality.
