As part of the 3 days Court boycott by all the Branches of NBA in Imo State, to register their displeasure over the gruesome murder of a Customary Court Judge, the NBA Owerri Branch will embark on Peaceful Protest March.
According Notice of the march shared on many Lawyers Platforms by Daniel Odiba, Publicity Secretary of the Bar, the march will commence from the Bar Centre and terminate at Government House.
The full text of the Notice reads;
Dear Silks, seniors and colleagues,
Tomorrow (Tuesday) 7 February, 2023,there shall be a coordinated, peaceful protest march by all the lawyers in Imo State, from the Bar Centre, Magistrate Court Complex, Orlu Road, Owerri, to the Government House, Owerri and the Police Headquarters.
Take off time is 10:00am.
Dress Code: Black gown/black skirt and blouse for the ladies and Black suit and tie for the gentlemen)
