An Uber driver, simply identified as Afam, was this evening shot at on Gado Nasko Road Kubwa, near AJ’s Lounge, by men suspected to be armed robbers.
According to shop owners around the scene, Afam is an electronics seller, who uses Uber to hustle at night. They further narrate that, a shop close by was being burgled and Afam who was in his car, panicked and tried to drive off.
One of the armed robbers, shot at him.
Afam was rushed to Kubwa General Hospital, where he was confirmed dead on arrival.
