MISSING PERSON ALERT.
Dear Colleagues, kindly help us escalate this as really sad occurrence.
One of us, Ucheagwu Jeffrey Lotanna, Esq. was kidnapped along the Owerri–Imo State axis on the 16th of October, 2025.
Jeffrey was called to the Nigerian Bar in Nov. 2019. He’s an active member of the Nigerian Bar Association, Young Lawyers Forum, Anaocha Branch, Obeledu, Anambra State, and was formerly with Nba Barnawa Branch, Kaduna State.
According to information available to us, his family was contacted through his phone (0816 097 5123) and asked to pay a ransom of ₦10 million, which was later negotiated to ₦2.1 million. Sadly, after the payment was made into the account provided by the kidnappers, his phone went off and he has remained unreachable since then.
There’s been no communication, no update and no trace of his whereabouts.
We’re pleading with everyone to help escalate this matter and bring it to the attention of the relevant authorities and networks that can intervene for his safe release.
