The Johnny Agim, SAN Foundation (“JASAN Foundation”) on Saturday the 13th of September announced a significant expansion of its scholarship programme, coinciding with the Birthday of the Founder/President, Mr. Johnny Agim, SAN and the Organisation’s One-Year anniversary.
The JASAN Foundation, officially launched on 13 September 2024, is increasing the number of beneficiaries for its #Legacy500 Elite Sponsorship Programme from 11 to 30.
The Call for Applications which was made on the 19th September 2025, was further reiterated as the Foundation marked a year of progress in building a lasting legacy of transgenerational institutions within the Nigerian legal eco-system.
The JASAN Foundation’s programmes of Mentorship, Sponsorship, Reforms, and Advocacy (MSRA), have seen several key achievements in its inaugural year, including the following milestones:
1. #TheLegacyDialogue 1.0:
The Foundation convened the inaugural edition of #TheLegacyDialogue, a high-level summit with the theme “Professional identity formation and mentorship in the legal profession”, which was attended by distinguished leaders of the Bar, Bench, and academia.
2. Indigent Lawyers Sponsorship:
Eleven indigent law students received full tuition support for the Nigerian Law School’s 2024/2025 Bar Part II Programme.
3. Strategic Engagements:
The Foundation strengthened relationships with senior members of the legal community and key institutions to foster indicative collaborations. These include the Nigerian Bar Association [NBA], and the National Judicial Council (NJC), amongst others.

Thought leadership articles were published and mentorship sessions were hosted for the initial group of beneficiaries of the #Legacy500 programme.
