Grandma Adeleye Laid to Rest: A Celebration of a Life of Dedication and Faith

The community gathered on July 10th, 2025, to bid farewell to Grandma Adeleye, fondly known as Grandmaola by her grandchildren, who was laid to rest in a heartfelt ceremony that reflected her remarkable life.
A dedicated educator, entrepreneur, and devout Christian, Grandma Adeleye’s legacy lives on through her contributions to education and her unwavering faith.
Born into a family rooted in service and community, Grandma Adeleye was married to Engineer Adeleye, and together they built a life centered on hard work and nurturing future generations. She was the founder of El Shaddai Nursery and Primary School, as well as Wemby’s College, institutions that continue to shape young minds and inspire educators in the region.
Grandma Adeleye’s passing marks the end of an era, but her influence endures through her children and grandchildren. Her son in law, Olumide Otolorin, is a distinguished lawyer licensed in both the UK and Nigeria. He previously practiced at Olujinmi and Akeredolu chambers and has extensive experience as a financial crime consultant. Olumide is also the CEO and founder of Titans Careers, a consultancy specializing in compliance and IT training (www.Titanscareers.com).

Adewunmi Otolorin.

Her daughter, Adewunmi Otolorin, is a triple-qualified lawyer licensed in New York, the UK, and Nigeria. She currently works in the legal department at Citigroup’s Canary Wharf office and previously practiced law in Nigeria with Afe Babalola & Co. Chambers. Both Olumide and Adewunmi are proud parents to two boys and a girl, carrying forward their mother’s legacy of dedication, professionalism, and faith.
As the community mourns the loss of Grandma Adeleye, her life remains a testament to the power of education, faith, and family. Her memory will forever be cherished by all who knew her.
