Tribute to Mama (GrandMaola): A Legacy of Love, Wisdom, and Faith.
Today, we come together to honor and celebrate the life of an extraordinary woman—Mama, my beloved mother-in-law, educator, school owner, mediator and devout Christian lady. Her kindness knew no bounds; she was a beacon of love and compassion to everyone she encountered—her family, extended family, friends, religious institutions, alumni, employees, and the community at large.
Mama was my mama, and even now, I am still in shock as I reflect on the precious moments we shared. Those times were truly special—quality moments that I deeply cherish, and the grandchildren hold close to their hearts as well. The laughter, jokes, and fun we shared were on another level, filling everyone around GrandMaola with joy. All she ever wanted was for everyone to be happy. She was also a devout and strong Christian, living her faith with unwavering dedication.Mama was brilliant, compassionate, and unwavering in her love for all. It remains a wonder that you are gone, Mama, and we still feel your presence in our hearts. We cherish the memories of “GrandMaola,” as the grandchildren affectionately called her, and we hold onto the love and warmth she shared with us.
You demonstrated the importance of transparency, fairness, hard work, diligence, professionalism, and humility—values that form the bedrock of your legacy and guide us today. We remember how you and your friends enjoyed hanging out together, your kindness in every action, and your unwavering faith.
Your educational legacy lives on through your school, which will always remember you and continue to uphold your prayers and dreams. Your vision for a better future for students and the community remains alive in the spirit of your work.Mama, your life was a testament to love, faith, and integrity. Mama was a Superwoman and Mama was everywhere, Mama was strong but who are we to question the Almighty one and time is indeed transient. It is a great reminder that time is a true asset.
