As part of compliance with the provisions of ACJA 2015, the FCT Restorative Justice Centre, Abuja Multi-Door Courthouse, Gudu, will on Thursday 5th December, hold an interactive round table session with 20 Magistrates.
Mrs Miriam Kombo-Ezeh the head of the unit stressed on the need for Abuja being the capital to be in the forefront of the implementation of RJ in the country.
Restorative Justice, is a way forward in entrenching Restorative Justice practice in our criminal justice system.
She also informed the stakeholders that even though there are trained mediators in the Abuja Multi-Door Courthouse, they will be trained as facilitators for the RJ programme in the Centre as well as people who want to serve as facilitators.
