The Federal Executive Council (FEC), on Monday approved the construction of 40 houses for judges in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Minister of the FCT Mr Nyesom Wike made this known while briefing State House correspondents at the end of the FEC meeting, chaired by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.According to Wike, the 40 residences will be constructed in the Kantampe district
The 40 units are shared as follows; 20 allocated to the FCT High Court, 10 to the Federal High Court and 10 to the Court of Appeal.
He said the project is slated for completion within 15 months.
He said the 40 houses are part of the federal government’s Renewed Hope Agenda and would be constructed in the Kantampe district.
