ANAMBRA STATE INDIGENOUS LAWYERS FORUM [AILF] endorses and adopt Mazi Afam Osigwe,SAN as their Candidate for NBA President. Describes Mazi Afam Osigwe As a Bar Man with Sterling qualities and personification of wisdom to Lead the Bar at this Trying Period of the Association.
Says the Forum chose to adopt and endorse him because of his past track record in NBA National as General Secretary that produced results.
The Members of Anambra State Indigenous Lawyers Forum trooped out in their numbers to endorse Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN.,as their candidate for NBA General President in the forthcoming NBA election.
They made this endorsement on Tuesday 11th June,2024 when Mazi Afam Osigwe,SAN and his team, paid the Forum a visit.
Speaking on behalf of the members of the Forum who came out in their numbers for Mazi Afam Osigwe,SAN., Abuchi Goshen Ogbachalu Esq.,the Chairman of the Forum and immediate past Chairman of Public Interest Litigation Committee of the NBA Anaocha Branch and Young Lawyers Forum-NBA Anaocha Branch respectively, who mobilized Lawyres of the Forum and Support for Mazi Afam Osigwe,SAN said Mazi is a Bar Man with Sterling qualities and personification of wisdom whose tenure as National General Secretary of NBA brought the innovative international best practices in NBA.
He stated that it will be equitable and just to vote for Mazi Afam Osigwe SAN, having listened to testimonies of our Forum members who practice within and outside Anambra State. In his Words,Abuchi Goshen Ogbachalu Esq.,said “Gentlemen it will be unwise to adopt and vote a candidate who has not been tested and trusted like Mazi” He stated that a single vote for Mazi Afam Osigwe is a Continuation of the good legacies of Mr. Olumide Akpata who made the Bar Proud.
While in the interactive session,Barr.Mrs.Ogechi Georgian Opara who is also a Solicitor in UK and Barr.Uchenna Okereke an Elder of the Forum extolled the Sterling qualities and campaign literatures of Mazi Afam Osigwe. They said without mincing metaphors,Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN is the best man for the office of the General President of NBA. 
The Chairman of the Forum welcomed Mazi Afam Osigwe to the Quarterly meeting of the Forum and promised to mobilize other components of the Bar in Anambra State for him including Lawyers serving in the Military and Police Legal Department.Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN while appreciating the unalloyed support of the Forum for his candidacy, promised to serve the Bar inline with international best practices.
