NBA Kaduna 2024: Program Of Events

The NBA Kaduna Branch Law Week Planning Committee, 2024 is pleased to announce the activities to mark its Annual  Law Week themed: Rethinking Legal Practice in today’s world; Litigation, Alternative Dispute Resolution and Technology.
The Law Week activities will be in partnership with the Institute of Continuing Legal Education of the Nigerian Bar Association.
The week is scheduled to hold from 21st – 25th June, 2024.

VOTE Dr. Promise Iwezor, Esq., as 1st Vice President of NBA, come July 20th.

The Branch has penciled down a five (5) days event which begins with the Friday Prayers at the Sultan Bello Mosque, on 21st June, 2024, a Football Match between NBA – Kaduna Branch and KASTLEA at the Ranchers Bees Stadium.
On Saturday the 22nd June, 2024 would be a family picnic at Goshen Park, Sabo, Kaduna.
On 23rd June, 2024 there will be Sunday service at ECWA Church, behind Kaduna State Correctional Centre.
The Ceremony will be declared open on 24th June, 2024 at the Sardauna Memorial Hall, Race Course by the Chief Judge of Kaduna State to be followed with a Keynote Speech by *Tobenna Erojikwe* The Chairman of the Governing Council of the Institute of Continuing Legal Education on the theme of the week.
Thereafter there will be a session on Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Prospect & Challenges, with a presentation by Kaduna Multi Door Courthouse and a discussion session with Hon Justice John Ambi, MCIArb, Mazi Afam Osigwe SAN and Chukwuka Ikwuazom, SAN.

Afam Osigwe, SAN as GS under Augustine Aleghe SAN’s administration, introduced Stamp & Seal that has greatly reduced the menace of fake lawyers.

On 25th June 2024 there will be a training session by Institute of Continuing Legal Education for Northern Lawyers on Mining Law. The ICLE shall fully facilitate the training.
Registration for the Law Week has already commenced at www.nbakaduna.org/lawweek2024. Registration closes on the 5th June 2024.
