The Electoral Committee of the NBA (ECNBA) saddled with the responsibility of conducting the July 20th Election into office at NBA, has disqualified Felix Chukwuma Ashimole aka Che Oyinatumba, co-publisher Kubwaexpress. According to the email sent to him at the early hours of 4th May, the ECNBA hinged their action on:
1. That his 2024 BPF was paid on 24th December 2023.
2. That his second nominator submitted teller and not receipt evidencing payment within time.
This is the second time, Felix Chukwuma Ashimole, Esq., is being disqualified from vying for the office of Publicity Secretary. In 2022, he was disqualified because ECNBA, could not find the local branch dues receipt of one of his nominator.
Felix Chukwuma Ashimole, Esq., when reached, said there is no cause for alarm and that he will explore the Appeal option as it was NBA that released the payment portal for 2024 BPF in December and insisted that the portal SHALL be the only portal for payment of 2024 BPF. Furthermore, the ECNBA requested for teller/receipt evidencing payment.
Against this backdrop, Felix Chukwuma Ashimole, Esq, urges his supporters to keep faith alive, raise the tempo and come July 21, 2024, we shall sing a victory song.
